MyITU FAQs

 Is There a Guide for New Students?

What is MyITU?

MyITU is a student portal where students can register and pay for classes online!


What can I do with MyITU?

Students can do the following things with MyITU:

  • Applying to ITU
  • Registration / Enroll for Courses
  • Add / Drop classes
  • Paying for tuition
  • View Class Schedule
  • View Grades and GPA
  • Download Unofficial Transcript


What is the difference between MyITU portal and EMS portal?

Currently ITU has 2 online portals for the students.

  1. MyITU Portal (my.itu.edu) : You can register for courses and pay for the courses using this portal. You can also add/drop courses using this portal. You can use MyITU portal to see your grades as well as download the transcript.
  2. EMS Portal (ems.itu.edu) : You can access your courses using this portal. You can access course resources, view your enrolled class schedule, and upload assignments using EMS portal.


How do I get login credentials for MyITU?

Students enrolled in International Technological University will automatically receive their login credentials for MyITU to their email.


What software do I need for MyITU?

We recommend that students use either Firefox or Chrome for MyITU portal.


I have forgotten my password for MyITU. What do I do now?

Please click on the "I forgot my Password" link and a new system-generated password will be sent to your email. You can login into your system using that password.
However we suggest that students change their password into something that they can remember. To change your password, please follow these instructions:

  1. After you login into MyITU,
  2. Please click on Personal Info
  3. Click on Password => change your password

Note: After you change your password, please allow 5-10 minutes to let the system update your new password, then you can retry to login with you new password.  

 

How do I add classes in MyITU?

Please follow these instructions to add a class in MyITU:

  1. Login into your account using your MyITU login credentials
  2. Click on "Student Records" tab
  3. You can see the 'Course Registration" Portlet here
  4. Click on "Course Search" link here
  5. The "Course Search"page opens. Here please make sure not to select any search criteria. Leave all the options as it is and click on the "Search" button.
  6. This will return a list of courses that you can add / register.
  7. Please check the checkbox for the courses that you want to add
  8. Scroll down and you will see the button "Add Courses" -> Please click on that
  9. After you added courses, go back to the "Schedule of Classes". You will see all your courses in this page.
  10. Here please click on "Make a Payment" and please do the needful.


How do I drop classes in MyITU?

Please follow these instructions to drop a class in MyITU:

  1. Login into your account using your MyITU login credentials
  2. Click Student Records at the top of the page.
  3. Click Add/Drop Courses in the "Course Schedules" box.
  4. Click the checkbox next to each course you want to drop, then click the Drop Selected Courses button.


How do I pay for the tuition in MyITU?

Please follow these instructions to pay for tuition in MyITU:

  1. Login into your MyITU account using your login credentials.
  2. After logging in, click on Student Records tab
  3. Here you will see My Account Info widget
  4. Click on "My Account Info" link
  5. Click on My Account Balances
  6. Here please fill in the amount to pay and click on submit button
  7. Select Credit Card button (Its already selected by default) and click on Continue button
  8. Please fill in the credit card details and do the needful


How can I see my class schedule in MyITU?

Please follow these instructions to see your detailed class schedule in MyITU:

  1. log into your MyITU account
  2. Click on "Student Records" tab
  3. Scroll down to the "Student Schedule" widget
  4. Click on "View Details" link.
  5. Here you can see the dates and timing details of your classes.


How do I see my Grades in MyITU?

Please follow these steps to view your grades in MyITU:

  1. Login into your MyITU account
  2. Click on "Student Records"
  3. Click on "Grade Report" Widget
  4. Please select the semester for which you want to see you grades from the drop-down menu
  5. Click on "View Final Grade Report". Here you can see your grades for that particular semester.


How do I get my Unofficial Transcript from MyITU?

Please follow these steps to download the unofficial transcript from your MyITU:

  1. Login into your MyITU account
  2. Click on "Student Records"
  3. Scroll down until you see "Unofficial Transcript" widget
  4. Click on "View Unofficial Transcript" link
  5. Here you can download your transcript.


When are payment for tuition and fees due?

Students have a 24-hour window to pay for their tuition and fees in full. Upon completion of adding/registering for classes, student account balances must be paid in full before 5:30 PM the following business day.

Failure to complete payment will lead to a Financial Hold on the student's account.

Students with a Financial Hold will be dropped from all classes, and will be unable to add/register for classes until the account balance is paid in full and the Financial Hold is lifted.

When a Financial Hold is placed on a student’s account, the student will no longer be able access the following services until the student account balance is paid in full:

  • Add/drop courses online on MyITU,
  • Obtain transcripts/grades/diploma/
  • verifications of enrollment

The student must clear their account balance via online credit card payment, or by submitting payment in-person to the Accounting Department. Once the student’s account balance is cleared, the Financial Hold will be lifted. 

During the final week of registration students must pay for their tuition and fees on the same day they register.
